A Grundbuchauszug is a copy of a land register (Grundbuch) sheet, showing a plot's owner, encumbrances and land charges on a given date. It is among the first documents a supermarket buyer requests, yet it shows only completed entries: pending applications, and the deeds the entries refer to, are not part of it.
• The extract's date, and a check of pending applications immediately before signing.
• Section I: the seller is the registered owner.
• Section II: the deed behind every entry.
• Section III: every land charge, and the deletion approval for each.
• Extracts for neighbouring plots, if the store depends on access, parking or utility lines across them.
